With the team's player info not yet ready to go through the England Hockey site, it's been a little difficult to track the comings and goings of goalies in the top tier of English hockey. But one definite, announcing his return to national league on Twitter, is Chris Rea joining Southgate.
As far as I know (I tend to be wrong and have been out of the little a little while), Rea was playing in the South Prem after backing up Bailey at Wimbledon. As part of the USA men's national squad, starting games in the national league will be a great way to aid along his evolution and development to be their go-to-guy at competitions.
Looks like he's still wearing the same setup, suggesting the Monarch GP01 pads are hard wearing!
